GALERIE ROYALE

Reinventing the Galerie Royale

An ambitiousreinterpretation

The renovation of the Galerie Royale was entrusted to the internationally renowned French architect, designer, and urbanist Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The project aims to reposition the Galerie Royale in a district undergoing major changes, including the recent renovations of the Crillon and the Hôtel de la Marine as well as the transformation of Place de la Madeleine, and to enhance its historic architecture.

A new living environment

The design aspires to reinvent the routes, strolling through luminous galleries, up to the two paved courtyards, Royale and Boissy. A remarkable tree, a century-old olive tree, adorns the former.

This new pathway is ideal for discovering the ground-floor boutiques, and dining in an exceptional setting with a luminous terrace under a magnificent glass roof.

This ambitious and virtuous program, which aims for the best energy and environmental labels, also meets the tertiary sector decree’s objectives.
